Lindsey Ross, an illustrator from Eastern Prince Edward Island, dedicates part of her time to creating original illustrations, often using archival ink and watercolours.
"Pen and ink have always been my medium of choice because of its unforgiving nature. There’s no undo button—when a stroke goes rogue, you have to adapt. Creating something beautiful from that rogue stroke is deeply satisfying. My process always begins with a pencil outline, but the real work is done with pen, using varying line widths."
Lindsey's work is deeply influenced by maritime life, shaped by both nostalgia and firsthand experience.
