Frequently Asked Questions

This section includes some of my most commonly asked questions. Thank you for having a look here first!

I want to buy an item on Etsy, but I’m local. Can I eTransfer and come to you?

I do my local sales through Etsy. It’s easier for me to track inventory and orders in this way, as I receive requests in a few ways (Instagram, Facebook, E-Mail etc).

When you do the Etsy transaction, you can use the coupon code LOCALPICKUP to skip shipping fees. Like a regular Etsy transaction, the processing time remains the same.

When your order is ready, you’ll get a notification via Etsy. It will be at 98 Water Street in Charlottetown- This is the PEI Craft Council’s retail gallery. They are open Monday through Saturday.

Can I buy a PEI Mandala Beach Blanket?

The short answer is no, this is no longer an item I offer. It was a great seller, and there is a chance you will still find one lingering with a stockist, but I don’t carry them anymore.

They were really popular, but they were also shipped to me with excessive packaging, and regardless of how many conversations I had with the supplier, I wound up with a huge waste bag of plastic with each order. I know its all inevitable with business, but this passed a threshold for me.

Can you design a logo for me?

This is not something that I offer. I’m not a graphic designer, and it’s not a direction I’m moving. When you look for someone to do your logo, they should give it to you in vector format, so that you can enlarge it as you please.

I work in traditional methods, mostly ink, and not digital images- Which is what you need. Even writing this explanation I feel confident I used the wrong terminology for what a graphic designer would explain to you!

Can you tell me about suppliers?

Absolutely- I don’t hold any of this close to my chest. I’ve done my best to find great suppliers as close to home as possible. It’s not a secret sauce, and if I can help you skip learning the hard way I will.

For my clear poly sleeves, back-boarding and shipping supplies I use ClearBags - They’re excellent to work with. If you find the website daunting, you can always give them a call. There is always a friendly voice on the other end to help work out what you need. They’re in Ontario and shipping is relatively quick.

I use Formfree Branding Ltd. for most of my printing needs. They’re located in Charlottetown and do an excellent job. I moved from doing my greeting cards out of province to this spot- And they are significantly crisper and better quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

If you have more questions, send me an email and I’ll do my best to help.
