Quill - A Wee Hedgehog
Does a girl need an excuse to draw a sweet little hedgehog? I think not. There may not have been any deep inspirational beginning to this piece- But he is a real favourite of mine!
Quill is just a sweet little Hedgehog enjoying rolling about. I used archival inks to create a pattern of quills on this little hedgehog, and coloured him with warm mustard yellows and burnt oranges, brick tones and a slate blue grey.
The original of this piece was on an 8” x 10”, so thats the largest size I offer him in for prints. I also have cards of Quill, which many people seem to frame. He’s a great little addition to a collage wall or child’s room.
